Summer Camp 2023

This year’s summer camp has come and gone, but wow, was it fun! Thank you to our brothers and sisters in Christ down at Grace Sugar Bush for organizing, helping, and hosting our joint camp. During the week long camp it was a blessing to see young Christians encouraged by one another in faith. Each day we talked about events in the Bible and weather connected to it.

Confirmation 2023

The Lord has blessed our church with a total of 5 confirmsnds this year! Please keep these young Christians in your prayers. On May 21st 2023 Lyla, Lincoln, and Jonah were confirmed during our worship service. Heidi was confirmed in a private ceremony earlier in the week. Onan was confirmed at Emanuel New London earlier this month.

Special Service May 14, 2023

Join us on Sunday, May 14th for a unique worship service. Week after week we gather and go through similar layouts of worship. Let's talk about the order of service and consider why we do what we do. Our worship liturgy is built in the foundation of Christ and the history of His Church. Join us as we discover the meaning of our orders of service and the historical songs we sing.

Ascension Service 2023

This year we will continue our tradition of joining our sisters and brothers in faith from around the area to celebrate Christ’s Ascension. This year the service will be hosted by Friedens Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Join us Thursday, May 18th at 6:30 for a special joint service followed by fellowship afterwards.

The event will be at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church's, 405 E State St, Bonduel, WI

Easter Triumph, Easter Joy

Christ is risen! Easter is the high point of our church year, in fact the early church considered every Sunday a mini-Easter. This year we celebrated Easter with a sunrise service featuring readings, songs, and a reading of Romans chapter 8, a powerful chapter. Afterwards we shared a meal, played some games, flew some paper airplanes, and enjoyed the joyful atmosphere. Then there was a festival service that included a special anthem by the Sunday School and the choir.

Thank you to everyone who made this Easter festival, and all of Holy Week, special! Thank you for those who helped prepare, serve, and clean up the breakfast. Thank to the singers. Thank you to those who faithfully maintain our building and keep it clean. Thank you to Todd, our sound guy, and Onan our livestreaming cinematographer. Thank you to the ushers for serving. Thank you for everyone for coming. Thank you Pastor for you extra week these past weeks and your partnership with our congregation!

Holy Week 2023

Holy Week is at the heart and core of our faith because here we see the pure, undeluded, agape love of God. This week we see Jesus rightly praised. This week we see Jesus willingly and resolutely go to the pain and punishment of the cross. This week we see the weight of our sins. This week we see Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God as the final sacrifice that makes us right with God. This week we see Jesus, who is God, forsaken by God. This week se see Jesus die and be buried. This week we celebrate the Jesus rose, proving His victory and His deity. This week we celebrate that our God has redeemed us, He has paid the price so that we are right with God! Ministry Milestone: 100th Sermon

On February 23, 2023, our church family celebrated a neat ministry milestone. Our pastor, Pastor Caleb Rothfuss, preached his 100th “career” sermon! Pastor Rothfuss has often says he enjoys preaching and well, we enjoy listening to it. Pastor Rothfuss does a great job preaching meaningful messages that are rooted in Scripture, applicable to our lives, and that beautifully balance the law and the Gospel. After the sermon and the service we enjoyed special snacks and decorations to remind us of this ministry milestone. Here is a poster that has most of his sermon titles/themes listed. We hope and pray that this is the first of many, many more ministry milestones like it.
