The Word of God shows us our true nature. People don't like hearing that and may reject you or not accept what you say... even if those words are from the Lord. Look at Jeremiah. He truthfully proclaimed the Lord's message and the people wanted to kill the messenger. Take heart and remember: These are God's words. The Bible shows us our sins, but it also shows us our Savior. Let us speak and listen to God's Word and accept it as it is, the Word of God.
