Cake is delicious! I want to eat it all the time... but I can't just eat cake. What would happen if people only ate cake? It wouldn't be good. The same is true with our life. There are many things that we would love to enjoy all the time, but God tells us that if we do, we will destroy ourselves and those around us. Instead, he calls us to a new way of life. This life is not about simply satisfying our cheap desires, but striving toward the deeper and more meaningful things that God gives us to enjoy in this life and the next.
