Build Your House on the Rock! - Fireman's Parade Saturday

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24-27

Again this year, St. Paul will have a float in the annual Fireman's parade! Our theme this year is "Build Your House on the Rock, Jesus." Based on the words from Matthew 7:24-27 (quoted under the image) we want to encourage all of Clintonville to build their lives and their families on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Everything else in life will pass away but Jesus will never pass away and neither will those who put their trust in him. Our mission at St. Paul is to ground people on this firm ROCK of salvation through the study of God's Word which is saturated with the promises of God fulfilled and carried out by Jesus Christ. Without him, we too will pass away with everything else. Our doors are always open to anyone who wants to build their firm foundation in God with us! Look for the house built on the rock rolling past in the parade!

For those walking with us: We will meet at church at 9:30am, and at Main St & 16th at 10:30am. See you there!

Bible 202 - Let's dig deeper.

Most people know something about the Bible. Whether you learned it in church, from a friend, in Sunday School or from your parents. That’s Bible 101.

But there are questions you’ve always wanted answered, but either haven’t asked, or haven’t found someone who can give a good answer. Or there are different answers you’ve received to the same question that just didn’t satisfy, and you’d like a more in depth study. That’s Bible 202.

This class will use the Bible alone for guidance, understanding, and clarity. Your questions are welcome. God has given us the answers. What does God have to say to you?

Class begins on March 30th at 6:30pm. Want to take part? Sign up below or call us at 715-460-3148.

Wednesday Lenten Services

During the season of Lent, we take some extra time together to meditate on the great sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ, for our sins. What love that God himself would die for us so that we could be forgiven of all the things we have done! Because of him we are called children of God and have full access to His heavenly kingdom!

Join us on Wednesdays at 6:30pm for a short contemplative service on Christ's passion.

You are also welcome to join us for supper at 5:30pm before the service!

Other special services to look forward to this season:

March 24th: Maundy Thursday Service at 6:30pm

March 25th: Good Friday Service at 6:30pm

March 27th: Easter Sunday Breakfast at 7:30am and Worship at 9:00am

Christmas is upon us - Let us go and worship him!

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” Luke 2:15

The shepherds couldn't help but go and see the Savior who had been born to bring peace into the world. How blessed were they to get this unique chance to lay eyes on the king of kings?

We may not have an angel choir, a stable, or Jesus as a baby to look at (although we do have one in our manger scene), but what we do have at St. Paul this Christmas season are a lot of opportunities for you to hear and sing the words of God given to us about these great things that have happened!  The same God who came as a baby into this world also comes to our hearts through the hearing and believing of those words. Do you want to feel at peace? Come hear the words God gave for you.
